Limbo Macchiato

Was created with Kevin Schroeder and choreographed by Frances Chiapetta, and was premiered in April 2008. Using avant garde theatre techniques, multi-media elements, and non-traditional story telling devices, it tells the tale of those individuals left behind after the Vatican abolishes the first ring of Dante’s Hell. Complications arise, and those left behind do their best to find a way out of their personal hell, with varying degrees of success.

The songs of Burt Bacharach provide the narrative, with german translations by Kevin Schroeder. A headless pianist is joined by the multi-talented cast to provide the musical backing. Premiered in April 2008.
